I'm not for sure, but it sounds like a chiller unit.
I was at a gas station who had a box that was some sort of refrigeration unit looked like a window unit air conditioner that kept minnow water cool in probably a 150 gallon tank. I am not sure if the air was coming out of the stones or if there were some type of coils in the water. Anyone have an idea about what I am talking about? I would like to know what they are called and where to find them to check on prices. Thanks

Well i guess there isn't to many keg parties around. The way we used to keep keg beer cold was to tap it with a shut off tap and run a hose to a cooler with copper coils in it. We would pack the cooler with ice and the tap was on the cooler. Its amazing how much it cools the beer. I don't see why a guy couldn' hook up a mini cooler to the bait well and recirc the water thru the coils. You would have to have a slow pump so the water has time in the coils.: Granite
