Thumbs up First trip with new Hitek rod holders and I must say

that I really like them, easy to adjust and easy to get the rod out of when you have a fish on. Didnt set the world on fire this morning, only managed 5 crappie but all were keepers but then it started to sprinkle and I kept on fishing for a while longer. I should have took off when it started to sprinkle :o because I rounded the end of the island I was fishing and looked south, OMG I had to kick it and go and I still got soaked but hey, got a bath before saturday :D

5 fish and bath is not to bad. A little rain may make the temps better. It has been so hot in SC i have not done much fishing.

Very little improvement will be possible, but I like to swing the t-bar from side to side as the boat swings around in the wind. In order to make rotation smooth and easy, I added a 3/8" nylon washer between the riser post and t-bar.
