August 27th WTCC Meeting

Our regular 4th Thursday meeting will be at 6:30 PM on August 26th, at Kappis Steakhouse in Humboldt. TWRA Marine Biologist Tim Broadbent will be joining us again, to share his knowledge of the crappie populations on Reelfoot. Those of you who have not had the opportunity to listen to one of Tim's presentations should make a special effort to attend. I know that those who were present for Tim's KY Lake presentation, will certainly not want to miss it!!!

In addition, we will have some tournament decisions to make. Our next tournament is scheduled for Sept. 18th, on Reelfoot. However, with all of the talk about the low water levels on Reelfoot, we need to decide whether to proceed as planned, change the format to a "waders only" tournament :D, or swap the Reelfoot tournament with one of this year's later tournaments. We would also like to discuss the possibility of sponsoring another youth tournament later in the year, in conjunction with one of our scheduled torunaments, since the heat sort of put a damper on this month's youth tournament.

We would also like to have some discussion regarding the idea of a Fall cook-out.
