Default Well one more time Update on Son

Well we had high hopes that the Doctor at Georgetown U in Washington was going to be his final surgery and his leg then would be in good shape to be able to use the prosthetic and while they did fix a lot of thing left wrong from the 2 surgeries before, they didn't finish right for him. Even though his leg was at least free from infection for a couple years due to the stitch left in before and made some repairs.

So Wednesday he will once again have a little more taken off his leg (4th time in 2 years. Last time the doc did fix a lot but he made a straight cut and didn't bevel his bones so it keeps cutting his tissue. From his burns his skin is very thin anyway and most seem to think they should have done his flap different and not left it flat cut on the end.

It's high hopes again and hopefully the last time for his leg.

So hopefully one more time and if this works out he will be very relieved because he really doesn't want them to have to cut above his knee. Only thing left after this (if it works right for a change) will be repair to his buttocks that were blown off in the IED explosion.

So I thank all of you that have been praying since Dec 2006 when all this started, but once again I sure would appreciate a few extra prayers Wednesday.

He's still active and works with SOCOM and their care coalition.

    Thanks again everyone,

Sorry guys for a long time I was not supposed to say even his name or much of anything, but now he's not about to go out with a unit or anything so I can show you pictures that I had not been able to earlier. Heck when he was first injured and in the hospital at BAMC his name was not even on the door and you had to know where you were going to see him.

Oh and I feel sure he would gripe if I didn't say he is E7 now.

Here he and his wife are the day he got his Green Beret...

Then when Big and Rich came by his room for a visit...

Glad I can finally feel like I can show his picture.
