Boy the fishing has been terrible this year. If you can catch 10 you are doing good. I hear that they might be considering lowering the limit, putting a 10" size and putting the 4 pole limit on. This would help a lot.

Water is still very muddy here (at least on the north side). Many of the 'experts' here are going out and only catching a few.
    However,
We are attributing the bad fishing more to the drastic weather change down here than anything else. Seems like it's coat weather then next you are wearing shorts. There has not been a consistant weather or temp pattern for more than 2 consecutive days in about two months, and thats when the fishing dropped off.

Still seeing lots and lotsa boats on the mouth of the Kissimmee and plenty in Harny Pond Canal .

Looks like a boat parking lot so somebody must be catching something.

Went to Trafford this past weekend. Caught two crappie each day. Just horrible.

Only thing that save sthe trip was the two-dozen or so bowfin and bullheads we caught. Atleast they had THEIR game faces on.

Went out this morning and boy was it cool and windy.
Could not go and jig the shore line like we usually do. Had to tie up to some cane.
But the good thing was, the crappies were biting pretty good. My fishing partner had 6 in the boat before I even had a bite.
We ended up getting 42 nice crappies. by 10AM.
We used jig poles with Teezur jigs, tip with a minnow. The best color was white head with a green & yellow tail.
Hope the weather gets warmer and the fish keep biting
