    I have been watching this board for a couple of months and am very impressed with the people here. I don't have a boat and fish from the shore. I also am not just all about crappie (although they're my favorite) ... I love to catch whatever is bending the pole.

    I've been wanting to say hi and introduce myself for a while, but figured this was the perfect time. I usually fish Smithville (and just started this year) and have noticed Alex's great Smithville posts lately. The maps really help me out and your reports are sure as hell better than anything I would find online or in the paper.

    There are several other guys on this board that usually fish Smithville and leave great information (Lee?), and again .. I really appreciate it.

    I promise I won't "spy" on the board so much and will try to post some useful information when I find some fish.
