    Default Cranks on Pin Oak???

Anybody ever tried pulling Crankbaits on Pin Oak or Beach Lake? Thinking about trying one of the two in the morning.

We rent a cabin on Pin Oak the first weekend of May every year. I've seen one guy pullin something, dont know if it was jigs or cranks, on the upper end of the lake. I think the weekend we go is probably the worst time of the year for crappie fishing, right after the spawn. Always catch a lot of bass and bream but no crappie.

Not yet, things are getting a little weird at work so I am holding off on spending any money right now. They are bringing in contractors to do essentially the same job we do but they swear nobody is going anywhere, the contractors are going to be level one support and we are going to be level 2. I'm just kinda waiting to see how it plays out and in the meantime I am being tight with the checkbook.
