    Default Pro Mariner Charger!!

I purchased my battery charger yesterday and would like to know from this forum if this can be mounted directly to the inside wall of a aluminum boat with out much heat build up or should there be some type of spacer between the aluminum side and the charger?

    Hey Len:

I'm not familiar with that model but if it doesn't already have "feet" or mounting brackets I would put some spacers behind it to create at least 1-inch of space for air movement so it can cool properly. My Minn Kota charger has brackets that hold it away from the mounting surface and I mounted it vertically and keep the space around it open so air can flow behind it to keep it cool.

Your owners manual should have information on proper installation.
