Default bowjax help eliminate tm vibration

I was on bowjax web page looking at a stab for my bow and I run across his neat new idea they had. I know for a fact that there bow stuff works for I have some on my hunting bow. they made some damper to go around the lower unit of the tm to dampen the vibration from the tm. I thought it was neat and I want it share with the people on crappie.com since there is alot of talk about tm scaring fish off. here is a link Bowjax MVD Damper

    Sometimes noise/vibrations attract fish.

I believe shadows spook fish more than anything. I can see fish in the water on my boat dock. If the fish don't see my shadow, the stay put. If they see my shadow, they scatter and don't come back for a much longer time than if spooked by a bobber hitting the water or a bass guy trolling nearby the dock.

This is just my observation over 60 years. I could be wrong.

wrap a piece of rubber from an old tire carcass around the trolling motor and secure with a couple of large clamps.

    Same effect.

Hate to be too critical, but that has got to be one of the dumbest web site I have been on. You can't find a price and then even if you click on PayPal it still is not giving a price until you click again. Why would anyone buy something that they don't want to show the price without going to PayPal??? Do they cost so much?

Besides my TM is pretty quite on speeds for fishing.

Same thing I thought too. No price = no sale if someone was interested in one.

    Wink Cabela's sells them ....

    .... for $16.99 :p

... check these comparisons out :

Bowjax MVD Trolling Motor Vibration Dampener
    $16.99 new - Cabela's
    BowJax Motor Vibration Dampener
    $10.49 new - Eagle Archery
    BowJax Motor Vibration Dampener
    $10.49 new - Little Jons

I put one on my buddy's boat's trolling motor .... but, can't really say whether it "helps" or not. The only reason I put it on there, was because I FOUND IT FLOATING in a local lake :D ... so it was FREE
I've also seen'em for sale at my local tackle store.

    ... cp
