    Default Not crappie fishing, but.........

Since the crappie seem to be on a holding pattern, for me anyways, I decided to do a little greenfish fishing last Saturday evening. MO QWACKER joined me on the lake and we managed to boat around 20 or so with the largest weighing an estimated 5 pounds or so.
I can't wait for the crappie to start back up, but in the meantime I'll keep on chunkin baits at ol' bucketmouth.

It's not crappie--but it looks like fun! Just don't make it a habit!

It's ok, we still do that every once in awhile too. Sometimes a fellas gotta do what a fellas gotta do to feel that tug on the end of the line.
