you usally try to stay in one spot on a night stalk but sometimes if the bite ain't there you go try another spot - mostly minnows but sometimes we will stick a jig in the night water and you will pick one up once in awhile

does anyone use artificials at night under lights? or does everyone just use minnows?...if so what do you use and what colors?....how long do you usually wait in a spot before you move?

with my mind on crappie and crappie on my mind -
and if ya'll see Goober later tellem I said duh huh - he'll know what ya mean!!!!!!!!
I use black and yellow crappie jigs. If the lure is below the crappie the fish can see the yellow and if the lure is above the fish the black is easily seen. Fishing under lights works great in the spring and in the fall!
