These were caught after the river receeded. Caught them on the fall last spring and summer on Dacus Lake in West Memphis, Arkansas.

He sure is Mr. Frank, I left Dacus alone last year cause I was tearing them up in Helena. Dacus is about 5 miles from me. My poor pet fish.

been watching rier stages,looks like nextweek might be worth a try,i like it on a slow fall,plus we can fish the whole lake,2/3 of been colsed off for duck hunters but thats over this week end. Jimfish, do you ever fish Island 40 chute. I have a few times. I never really have any luck there. I guess I don't know how to fish it. Though, I do at certain times of the year go there to see all the Hummingbirds the people feed there. It is a sight to see. There are thousands of them flying.

For the last two or three times that I've been to Isl 40, I haven't done any good. I struck out the last time I was there, and decided not to go back for a few years. That chute has not produced for the past few years, or at least not like it used to.
