Marshall State School lake with the "Dooface dog"

After a long week of work, Uncle Erin had to work, and the gals were doing a yard sale in town. I had chores to do but I figured that long grass wasn't going anywhere so I thought, the heck with it, I asked Dooface AKA NoJoe if he wanted to go to the lake.
He was all for it so we headed out. I started after crappie around the dock for awhile, no luck then some guy offered me the rest of his night crawlers, I accepted them and broke down and did the worm and bobber thing. Meanwhile, Joe was a good boy and I let him off the leash to explore around the lake (there were no others for him to bother) while I was catching a bunch of fish.
It was a little hot out, but Joe really likes to get into the water, that was what I hoped for when I got a new dog, so he splashed around with some sticks and some other icky stuff he found on the bank. I wound up with a nice bowl of gill fillets that I am fixin' to eat soon
It was a good day overall even though I still can't find the crappie.

nothing wrong with eating gill's, and fishing in the heat sure beat's cutting grass in the heat
