It was better than going to work redboat. Keep after them, I have faith in Falls also.
Only caught 5 Crappie but took a bit to find them. They are in laydowns.. I cought all mine tightlineing 7-9 feet deep. and your hooks needed to be in the trees. So to me the best bet is to use Slip bobbers (which I did not have with me). So my faith in Falls Lake is beginning to return . Might and its a very BIG might try again in the morning.. all depends on what the night at home brings..:D
REDBOAT
Oh the water temp was 86... Sarting to cool down a little bit huh. :S

I PRACTICE CATCH & FRY---WHEN I CAN FISH AND CATCH:D
I havent had much luck, but thanks for the update Redboat!!
lets get-r-dun on some crappie fishin...
OK Give it up! Where specifically are the fish? HAHAHA I finally took the boat out for the first time this year last thursday for a shake down cruse. I replaced all the fuel lines and added a fuel filter water separator to the line and thank God that seemed to make a hugh difference. I been having some low rpm issues rough idle and die on throttle up but I guess the fuel line was the problem. Was nice to get the boat out but could not do any fishing at all. Marked a lot of fish though. Hoping this fall is a good one on Falls. Buess you didnt get out yet since I see you online here.
Didn't make out out this morning but did this afternoon and the lake was pretty much ruined from all the ski/pleasure boats.. it was to the point where the boat ride was not even enjoyable.. finally went into the way upper part of the lake and there was a boat anchored up and people swimmng right infront of me favorite laydowns... LOL
gonna go back Tuesday am.. should be better then.
Tried to Fish This morning.. got three Crappies on a laydown.. then got too HOT.. Mudge (my dog) and Myself both got a little squirley so we left for the confort of some ac..
Can't wait for cooler weather of Fall!
