Caught a 2.92 lb slab under one in 2008. It's what I grew up with.

    Default OK question

How do you use them? My wife uses corks all the time and i generally don't sounds like a new way for me to fish.

I have thought about giving them a shot. I don't mind using bobbers but I have only used the ones you put on how much ever line you want in the water. But if you are fishing 20 to 30 feet deep it is nearly impossible. I was wondering if you either tie a bead or a small slip knot on the top?

Great technique during the summer around bridges. Slip cork and a minnow and fish it right next to the piling. Have caught some of my biggest doing that. What type do you guys use? Ive always used the pear shaped(?) havent used the other types much.
