    Talking Pullin Cranks

I've been fishing this way for three weeks now(still new to the idea). Been doing good caught 60 sunday brought 12 home. But wondered if there where any specific cranks anyone uses to get into the deeper water. I do great in about 12ft of water but when i get into the 20-30 range i must be goin over top of em. Any suggestion greatly appreiciated.......:D

Try 300 series bandit, you can get em pretty deep depending on how much line you let out.

You can use a 1/2 oz, 3/4oz, or 1 oz lead weight with the hole through it and then a swivel below that with a leader line and get deeper without having to put out too much line. That way you can use any crankbait you have. I agree that the bandit 300s are good though. I use them too.

One thing to remember, the crappie will be suspended just over the thermacline. So 12 ft may be deep enough, even in 30 ft of water. I use the Bandit 300 series. The Wally Marshall Crappie Cranks (from BPS) are also good. The deep diving Gravedigger from Cabelas is a good one. Good Luck, Scott

Strike King has some small crankbaits very similar to Bandits that are not made in China!
