    Default Mark Twain 7-30

Most of the ramps were closed due to 22 ft above normal pool, but lots of fishing was available with little competition. Fished about three hours in and out of rain storms. Used jig and minnow tightlining down 10-12 feet in 40-50 feet of water around structure. Caught probably 50-75 crappie kept limit of 10 and 11 inchers. got wet three times but better fishing was during the rains.

Sounds like a good trip n the rain. Maybe it stayed a little cooler that way.
