    Default Kinkaid Lake

Hey guys, I thought some of you guys might like an update on the crappie on Kinkaid Lake here in Southern Illinois. I always see several boats here from Missouri so I thought I would give you an update. We have been catching several good fish in the last month. Most of our fish have been coming from 13-25 feet of water on either a slip cork or bottom bouncer. Here are a few pics of our recent trips. Had a few top the 2 1/2 mark!!

I think we ended up in 30th place. Not very good. We lost two fish that day that I think would of had us close to the top ten. That was my first time on Truman and I was impressed with the lake! We caught alot of pound fish during the tournament. Didn't do us any good in the tournament, but if we were just out fishing i'd take pound fish all day long!!
