You May Want To Check With The Dot In Your State. I Know Here In Nc It Is Legal To Pull Both But The Entire Rig Cant Be More Than 60 Feet.

I think I broke 6 or 8 tongues over the years....:D

I guess i better call the state patrol in the morning before I leave.Im under 60 ft. I have CDL s.I thought as long as you where under 60 foot you was OK but i better check first I dont need any trouble with the law.
crappie fisher when I bought my 5th wheel I put a new bumper on it. It came with the usual 4" thin wall bumper and I had it cut off and a schedule 40 4" bumper welded in it's place I just couldn't trust that flemsey bumper that came on it . Also had the hitch welded to new bumper.Dont gert in a bind and have to back it up with boat on it.

oh i want plus its just a 14' alum vhull. I can un hook it and turn it around.Im just worried about the d.o.t now. I guess before I leave out in the morn i will give them a call.I just called the local sheriffs dept and nobody there had a clue.which they said i might have to have cdl which I do.I have a class A cdl it says that i may operate combination vehicles over 26,000lbs.and tow trailers over 10,000Lbs gvwr.Like I said im uder the 60 foot law i think its 53 foot all together.See im just pulling a small 15 foot camper. So I guess we will find out in the morn if I can do this or not.
