Default stockton not to great, not to bad

got there late, like always, checked the trees, no fish, checked the bluff,no fish, went to 10ft.of water found a few, had a couple over 12, one over 14 no pictures, sorry, it was tough today, color was black /chartruse slabbuster, tipped with nibble or minnow, or nothing it didnt matter they hit anything, light wind 85dg water clear as a bell, fished up sons creek, and fished the bridge piers at mutton creek, found some fish at 10 ft.deep in 45ft of water, no 3 pier from the south going north, and no. 5 . also no 1 on the north end of the bridge, lots of white bass comming to the top chasing shad, busting them like crazy, if your into white bass go up sons creek south to the bend, early, sit at the mouth of the cove and watch, there every where up in that one corner, east side of the channell. later all

route U I am pretty tight on where I catch fish, that stockton report was pretty vague. since I really fished grand lake o the cherokee. (kidding). TYKE A yes I looked up and seen them clouds and told darrell lets hit the truck, I dont want to get blown off the water, we go loaded and hit the road and bam rain and wind and we just got out in time, rained till we got to miller then it quit, started again just north of mt vernon.. nothing at my house though. rats.pvasst1 and 55 not a bad day at all.
crappiedave and buzzy you should have been there. later all

Sounds like you got out and had some fun catching them. Nice size, did you catch many shorts? Way to split before the rain hit. I would like to get in some of those white bass they sure are fun to catch.
