jig hooks

Recently i tried mustad wide gap panfish jig hooks, i can't believe what a pain in the butt they are. Has anyone else tried them? I had one heck of a time getting them out of there mouth. The point sticks in the roof of there mouth and the eye catches on there top lip,almost like a safety pin.You couldn't lose a crappie if you tried. I'am going back to sickle hooks. Anyone else had this problem? Granite:

Wouldn't a fish not being able to get off be a good thing? LOL! I don't like sickle's for much the same reason, they are hard to get out.

Well, no, I manage to loose em pretty well. Sounds like a good hook to me if you can't loose em. I might have to give em a try. Never heard anyone complain they can't manage to loose a fish, d**n the bad luck.:D Just kiddin, I understand what your sayin.
