    Default Headed for Texas

Goin Texas way for a few days to catch some of those green trash fish at night on Lake Fork.

Then, gonna spend a day with a buddy of mine on Cedar Creek Lake chasin some crappie.

See y'all in a few days.

Just returned from a few very successful days of fishing. Fished a couple of nights for bass on Lake Fork, a day at Cedar Creek, and a day at a private lake for crappie.

Harvested 18 crappie at Cedar Creek for a few hours work, and limited at the private lake, all caught on jigs.

Caught some nice bass on Fork at night , but none of the giants cooperated. Had one around 8 lbs, several 7's, and a quite a few 4 and 5 lbers.

Sounds like you had a great fishing trip in Texas. You really cleaned them out.. ...it has been too hot here to even be outside but ready to get fishing when it cools down from 100 plus degrees.

I used to fish lake Ray Roberts in Texas during the spring and fall months.
It has some really big Crappies.
