    Default Surprising Catch

I caught this the other day. I was throwing a 1/2 oz. strike king, red eye shad, when i had a hit, set the hook, and reeled this in. I have never seen shad around here get to this size, not to mention it was hooked inside the mouth, not snagged. I just laid the bait on it for size reference. Maybe not a big deal, but nothing I had ever seen b4.

Looks more like a Tullibee (Lale Herring) to me, but I can't see the mouth to tell for sure.
