    Question Hi-vis line?

do any of you all use it on your jiggin reels?
do you think the fish can see it and it spooks them?
what pound test do you like 6,8, or maybe 10?
i would probaly b using it in brush the majority of the time but might b in open water this fall and winter if i get to bigger lakes.

    thanks in advance

Smitty I use power pro 10# hi vis yellow and I don't believe it makes a bit of difference. I think you will be able to feel the lite bite better. I think the power pro 10# is like 2# diameter

I use Hi-Vis on all my crappie poles. I use 10 lb. for rigging and longlining and 6 lb. for jigging. I think the only problem with Hi-Vis would be in super clear water like I have at Bull Shoals than I go to clear or green. Just my 2 cents worth.

I don't have much Crappie catchin' experience, but I got tired of loosing so many C&C rigs to the stumps while spider rigging so switched to Power pro. at least now I get back the sinker and swivel:D
As an experiment I loaded one with 10# Green braid and one with hi vis Red and fail to catch Crappie on both:D Green carp are a different story! Can't seem to keep the blasted things off either rig, so color doesn't seem to matter to them!
Only problem with the Red line is after a while it fades out and turns PANK!:o I prefer the Yellow Hi vis and have it on my bait casters , but the ebay guy I get it from didn't have any 10 or 13# yellow in stock so thought I would try Red

I use high vis. yellow, on everything, I fish the clear waters of beaver lake and white river below the dam and no problems, I have some orange braid for truman that I swap out once in awhile and no problems with that either. good luck

Yea, we use the Mr Crappie yellow hi vis. Very good product, recommend it highly. We use 6 lb.

I use the 4 lb Mr Crappie for night or low light conditions and I love it.

I dig the 6 lb Mr. Crappie Hi vis. I can see it move, and the crappie don't seem to care..
