Night fishing, Glow sticks/Rod strike indicators?

Anyone have any supplier for some bulk glow sticks? They are a 1.25 a piece at my local bait shop. I found some at the Dollar Tree but they don't light up worth a crap when snapped. I've been doing alot of night fishing as the heat of the day is just to much lately.

I figured I could order some bulk online through ebay, but I wasn't sure on the quality as I wanted something bright.

Also searched a threat mentioning glow in the dark paint? The idea of painting a few rod tips crossed my mine too.

Buy the cheap ones that are used for kids bracletts. Come 5 or 10 to a pack or tube. I take the connector and tape put one on each end of a stick. Position stick on rod where you want it. Neatly tape connectors in place. Use stick. Remove stick and leave connectors taped in place. Next time out, break new sticks and insert into connectors. Works well. I have them on all my catfish rods.
