Thanks to Posey64 who returned (after copying all of them..) my old log reports on Truamn Lake clean back to 1994, I had retired from work and had left them in my old locker, Mike found them and returned them to me today, a big thank you Mike..... some I find very interesting.......this is how I kept track in the old days and still do........:D

I keep records of my fishing trips for crappie, and theyre very similar to yours. I "had" a couple years of records on the 'puter and lost them when the dang thing crashed so I was reluctant to start more records but did after a bit of time.
Those records I lost actually told the story on when the fish moved in the water column and at what temps so it took ALOT of the guesswork out of finding the fish. I hated I lost 'em but that wont be the case now as I keep 'em backed up on a 1 gig memory stick now. Even though I only started this new record this past Jan/early Feb, I look for it to fill in the blanks for me starting next year.

I just go and try to remember what and where and when, if I don't ok If I do better. but I could see where it would be of help in certian situations.

I sure hope he made us some copies. If not do you think Monty will leave them to one of us in his will. I am sure that would be a very valuable collection of logs if sold at auction.

Glad you got them back. I'll bet you have some fond memories browsing through them!
When I started fishing for Crappie this Spring I started keeping a log in a word document on the computer. Tried so many things and places it would be impossible to remember all of it:D
