Default Gone but not forgotten (Slab)

Why not have a thread of members that passed away
Sort of like obituary type column
Where some members WITH WELL CHOOSEN WORDS
could do a write up then lock that topic

    Just a thought

Sounds like a great way to honor their memory and contributions to crappie.com

they could be enrolled in a ring of honor or something similar.

I agree fella's. We all love the sport of crappie fishing and what an honor it would be to have a memorial for our past crappie.com members.

    Great Idea!

Waiting for more input from the members to see if it had merit.

Would be nice to make it retor acitve forum and start with people who remember the old timers that have moved on.

I can do it, not sure how much activity there would be. After all, we would not really want a lot of threads. We could always just dedicate a thread as a memorial, and then place it in the archives where it would remain forever.

The memorial in the archives sounds like a great idea....would make it a lot easier to handle also.
