Replacement Net bag

Guys,

I replaced my net last year with an ego net last year and love it, however I would like to replace my old net's "bag" with a rubber one because the ego isn't big enough to fish for walleye. I spent sixty or so dollars on this old net some time ago, so I don't just want to chuck it and find a new one. I have seen some replacement net bags that were rubber, but man they are expensive. Anyone know where I can pick up a rubber replacement for a hoop that is 19" x 24"?

Maybe I can get lucky and someone has a busted handle on an old net and will sell me the net part "right"

Maybe dumb question-but--last time at bass pro saw several folks with replacement rubber nets @checkout long line, don't have a clue as to size tho

Yeah, they have them at Bass Pro, but they want $28 for a replacement rubber net that will fit my hoop.

Maybe check jannsnetcraft.com, I know they sell net making stuff, not sure if they sell rubber nets or not.

I know what you mean, it's a pain trying to get a catfish over 20 lbs in a shallow rubber net.

I thought that I saw some replacement nets in there catalog awhile back....I could be wrong. I know they sell the nets because a friend of mine bought one to use when jug fishing for catfish.

If your old net is not in bad shape, you can get a can of plastic dip and recoat it. Get some disposable paint brushes and lock the handle in a vise and start painting, dries in a few hrs.
