    Default ATV mechanic ?

can anyone recommend an ATV mechanic who doesn't charge an arm & leg? Prefer a guy or gal up north of river or toward KCK/Shawnee area. I have an ATV with some sort of fuel pick up issue

My brother-in-law goes to church and is good friends with the people who own and run Heman's ATV. They're on 7 before you get to Harrisonville, I forget the name of the little town. I will try to find their number for you and post it back on here.

it will start and run fine for a bit then start sputtering and sometimes cut out. Much like it isn't getting fuel. Figure its a fuel pump, or such

It might be your float sticking in your carb., might try running some Sea Foam gas treatment through it. I have 2 atv's and they sit around for most of the year until hunting season and once in awhile I have to remove the carb. and there is four screws on the bottom that a cover comes off which shows the float, spray it out with caburator cleaner and they are good to go. Not sure what size yours is but my bigger one (750cc) has dual carbs. and it's a little more complicated. Just trying to save you some money.

Try Fresh Gas, My Lawn Mower Did Kinda The Samething, It Would Fire Up Then Die, Emptied The Tank Put In Fresh Gas Sprayed Some Carb Cleaner In Carb And It Fired Up And Ran Fine.
