Default In Florida area next week

    Fellow Fishermen,

I will be in Orlando next week on a conference and was hoping someone could show me a good place to fish. I have posted this on main crappie board as well. I hope someone can assist a fellow crappie fishermen in need of a good fishing fix.

    Thanks
    Murf

Default What is your schedule going to look like?

What days off or time off will you be able to fish? Are you bringing a boat or some tackle?
I live in Mt. Dora about 30 miles north of Orlando and fish the Harris chain. I do have a boat, just a few rods, and like to have company, when the wife is working, to go fishing. Only two days I can go next week is possibly monday and friday for sure. I say monday is a may be, cuz I may start my new PT job this weekend and my days are going to be sat, sun and monday. Will know more about monday later this week.
Give me a holler. Will do what I can.

    centerdriver,

I know I will be off on monday. Planning on getting in town on Sunday. Friday is open as well. That's my travel day back home, so I know I can go that day. Anything that you can do will be helpful. Most important if you can pass on some knowledge that will be the best. The best time spent fishing is just talking and enjoying the company that you are with. Catching some fish are good as well. That's to far for me to bring the boat. I'm bring some tackle and rods with me. That is all that I can bring. Thanks for the invite. Hope I can take you up on the offer.

    Thanks
    Murf

    Captgene,

Nice looking fish. What is the weight on them. Not into bass that much but, if that is the only thing I can catch then I guess they will do.
