Son Update

It's been a long time this has been going on now and I would have just quit posting this stuff, but so many of you have been there since Dec 2006 when this all started and I feel that I should keep updating you guys. We sure appreciate the prayer and support. So here is the email I just sent out to friends other than this board.

Well Darn,

Looks like Randy is going to have his 4th cut on his leg and is worried that eventually he may loose his knee. If his tissue was not burned so badly this probably wouldn't still be going on. This time it seems as he just doesn't have enough padding or movement in his skin where the Prosthetic fits on. He wants his Prosthetic guy to be in the surgery room when it happens this time so he and the doctor can talk. Don't know the schedule yet, but that doctor is going out of the country maybe next month so I think he's trying to get in before that. We will see how it goes, I just wish one of these would be the last for Randy as I know he is tired of the re-do's. At least they fixed some things last time which make it better infection wise, but it's just not holding up when he wears the leg.

My prayers are still going up for Randy and your family. We share your concerns and we know God is able Skip. Thank you for the update. I know it has been a long 4 years for you. I am also reminded of those families whose sons and daughters paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We all know freedom has never been free.

Boy Skeet, me too and actually after the last surgery to repair all the things wrong in there and got the infection out with taking out that old stitch. I thought the next step was going to be getting his buttock fixed since he has none, but I guess that is now postponed until this is over and done. He is really starting to think that he may loose his knee before it's right and that wouldn't be good.
