We are thinking of camping at Eufaula for a couple of days. My wife is wanting to know if there are any sandy beaches to swim at on Eufuala...can anyone tell me if/where they would be? Also, could anyone point me in the direction of some standing timber that might hold some crappie?

Large swimming area with sandy beach at Highway #9 Recreational Area. Turn off is just past the long bridge east of Longtown. Its where I take my grandkids.

Standing timber sets around one mile east of the old Arrowhead State Lodge just across the channel. Boat ramp in Arrowhead State Park.
