Bait Pump

I was wondering if anyone here has used shrimp or crawfish instead of crappie nibbles in the bait pump. If you did, how did it work? I just bought a bait pump and was just wondering. I have it preloaded with crappie nibbles right now and will bring some shrimp with me to try that out too.

I would over load it as if you don't go enough fast enough it will dry in there. Just load some in and take them rest with you so you can add them in later if you run out.

As for the other question, I don't know, but I do know bream love shrimp and would think crappie would too, but also the catfish should love that, LOL!

I have heard of people using grass shrimp tipped on a jig to catch crappie. So I figure it should be good injecting it into a tube.
