Crappies biting anywhere?

Hows it going everybody i am from Ashville ohio which is kind of close to deer creek and i was wondering if anybody was having any luck catching crappie anywhere?

I heard they are getting a few at saltfork. The corp is letting the water to rise again and heard you can launch at any of the ramps now.

I'm from Louisiana and used to live in Circleville which is right down the road from Deer Creek. My Ex and I would stay in a camper there. I've caught a few in Hargas Lake back in the late 80's.

I live in ashville which is right up the road from circleville and there is nothing left in hargas after the muskies got in there they ate everyting then they drained the lake to get the muskies out and it never got back to how it was.

I myself have not been out but..i have heard reports of some being caught at buckeye ocean:p

we usually make a couple of trips over there during the spring and kill the crappies and big bluegills on minnows in the channels. too bad it's an hour and fifteen minutes away for me or i'd go more often.
