    Default tires for structure

What do you all think about using tires for structure? How would you put them out?

I have seen some tires that are cabled together and used as structure at Kentucky Lake. Canepole aka Tom said that the TWRA put them out. I personally have never used them.

    Default We can't

Last I heard; it's a very large fine in La for burying or sinking tires, so I don't know if they're good or not. I would think you need to check with your state environmental agency and or wildlife and fisheries beforehand.

my dad used to have a partner in his tire business and the partner
put hundreds of tires in table rock lake and caught a lot of fish off of
them. he always cut a large hold in each one to make them sink better.
he tied them together, it seems they would be on the bottom though
and wouldnt work later in the year. he never would tell my dad where
he put them so i have no personal experience. i wonder if the corps
would allow tires now. trees or pvc would seem a better choice.
    just a thought

lay one down flat, stand two on top of it, it will look like an A,, tie a block in the middle, and cut a large hole in the top , the hole will let out air bubbles and they will sink like a rock,, now have help cause it will be one heavey load,,they make great stumps, may have a few tire stump fields myself, and then i may not,,it is illegal to use tires , but thats between you and the man, and if hes not there, well your on your own lol. but they will still be there for your grand kids to fish...
