    Default Where is Eager Beaver

    News Flash

Just got word that he is on an assignment for Fox News chasing tornado's up in Minnesota on the St Croix river. Some say he is getting his everyday assignment in code from listen to Rush Limbaugh everyday and watching Glen Beck. Something about chalk boards. Looks like he don't have time for us anymore. Sure do miss him

This is a busy time of the year for Beav..He is probably getting ready for his 4th of July cook out that he has every year...He has a lot of folks every year but he said there wouldn't be as many fried fish this year as before....Have to rely more on hamburgers and hotdogs..

Cane Pole and I got an invite...I guess he likes us more than the rest of you conservatives...:D

Have a great 4th Beav and drop in and see us sometime...

Shucks, he insulted my mother and that made me mad too, said she wore combat boots, but I didn't want him to leave over it. That's why I didn't report it to higher ups.

I think he's jealous of the Canadian beavers and is feverishly trying to break their record!

Yep the ol Beav is a very accurate reliable and consistently dependable weather vane for C dot C on two subjects. He will point you in the correct direction each and every time with out fail. Those looking for a proper course of direction or action could be totally non-thinking and be absolutely right each and every time by looking at the EB weather vane on fishing and politics.

If the subject is fishing look to where the head is pointing and you are right on. As for politics a 180 degree swing is required and the tail will point you in the right direction. On one subject he talks out of his head and the other out his tail making him a very useful and valuable contributor on this forum. :D

He EB hope you can make it out to Glen Elder for the Kansas get together the end of July. I will certainly be in dire need of any and all fishing info I can find on how to fish this lake. Sometimes question my own sanity for saying I would go out there at this time of year and possibly fishing in 100 plus degree heat and winds howling in excess of 20 mph in central Kansas but know it will be a good time meeting the fellow fishermen.

Right you are Mr Don. We are on our 3rd 4th of July Party, and about all tired out. We had one last night and had fire works after dinner and about 11:00 a Deputy County Sheriff came and shut us down on the fireworks. Someone complained about the noise. Go figure!
Today was the Parade and My Daughter lives on the Parade Route so we always have a big party at her house for the 4th. Her Husband is a volunteer Fireman and Paramedic and was honored this year so he rode in a vehicle with his name on the side and received a very nice trophy. Of course it rained all day so my canopy's came in very handy as long as someone remembers to drain the water off the top.
We are heading out to our neighborhood get together and fireworks now. We are about fireworks out for this year. We got the side street closed off and will shoot them off in the street.
We all need to remember what the 4th is REALLY all about. A lot of people believe it is about setting off fireworks and having a good time. That is just a small part of the reason to celebrate. It is always nice to sit down with the youngsters and make sure they understand what the 4th is really about. You will be amazed at how interested in our history they really are, and how much they already know.
    Here's hoping you'all have a safe and happy 4th.

Don, I backed my fish fry off until August. Hopefully I can get out and collect some specimens to have a good showing on a few hundred dinner plates. Will let you know for sure when it will be. Just by chance that you and Tom can make it. hehe EB
