HV and I headed out to fish HD this afternoon. We got on the water about 5 and fished till about 8 and made if off the water well before sunset which is rare.

Fished the breakes around Marryville pulling minnows and jigs. We caught 80 or so fish with 17 being keepers which is not bad for HD for this time of year. Bite ranged from very heavy almost taking the rod out of your hand to not even know there are on there. Lost of fish and left them biting. I hope everyone has a safe weekend.

SWB, I got my boat fixed over at the guy your recomended. Did a good job and very affordable.

Went back out today and fished from 2 to 5 by myself. A lot more boats out so a little rougher. Fishing was good from 2 to 4 tthis afternoon hen shut off. Same general areas as posted above, spider rigging minnows on a couple of different breaks in 18 to 20 ft of water 10 to 12 feet down. Caught about 50 and cleaned 13 in 2 hours. Everyone have a great and safe weekend.
