need help with trolling motor

here's the problem, i have a minn kota all terrian 40pds thrust foot controlled. i have misplaced on manual and my problem is in my steering. one way i can turn it all the way around and the other way it don't turn very much. how do i adjust the steering.

Ridgedogs loosen the nob that you use to ajust the bepth the motor is in the water and rotate the whole thing,the top of the motor with the arrow on it. the top may run horozontal to bow of boat not streight with the boat keep fooling with it you should get it right.

Put your pedal in the center position, then loosen the shaft clamp like Make said and turn the head until the arrow points dead forward, then tighten the shaft clamp back down.

If that doesn't fix it then the gearing is out of sync in the head.
