kinkaid lake last tuesday

me dad and my uncle went over to kinkaid lake in IL to pull bandits tues morning
we did pretty good i guess despite loosing 20 pounds from being so hot it got up too 100 air temp before we quite

ended up with 10 keeprs one 13 incher and some really heathly 10-11 inchers those fish were really thick for there length

all in all a good little half day trip

What color over there did you find worked the best? Didn't happen to pick up any walleye did you? I go over there quite a bit, the size of the crappie is nice compared to Wappapello. Also will pick up a muskie every now and then if you pull cranks over there enough. I got a 49" two weeks ago on a chart. hot n tot., couldn't believe I got him in the net with 12lb test and a 8lb flouro. leader!

I have tried pulling crawler harnesses and all kinds of different cranks looking for walleye with limited success. My best is 6lbs, but they are definitely hard to find in big numbers

Most where caught on chrome dome as my mom calls it!!!
Black top chrome bottom
also pearl with red eyes was good
no walleye or musky but my uncle did get a 17 3/4 inch bass!!!
