took a new guy to stockton today, he never seen crappie so shallow, caught a bunch had 6 keeper crappie, 1 keeper walley, and one real good time, water was clear to a little green, not bad, light wind, chartruse/punmkin seed jig was jig of choice, fish were 3 to 4 feet deep in 10 ft of water, some casting, most just slow trolling,

thanks for a good time Arlen (raidoactive) I had a good time. enjoy your crappie counter hope you get to use all the button soon:D

WTG guys and a Walleye is a great reward for roughing it out on a hot day like today.

and passing on that counter, I have a little over 200 made and have given out about 10 to new folks, some have never seen anything like them, guess they don't go to the tackle shops? Stay cool we are not getting any younger.....

I caught a couple of short fish between two trees and was fixing a tangled mess of lines when Beagle threw his jig in that spot and pulled out the nice 19 inch Walleye:D

I got a couple of pics I will post a bit later

Thanks for the trip and the counter Michael! I sure enjoyed the day, even if was a hot one!

Excellent job gents, sounds like a great day indeed. Would be fun to catch an eye, I don't ever remember catching one myself so I'll just keep dropping bait into the water and maybe get lucky one of these days.
