    Default SoCal Crappie

Later this summer I'm going down there with my siblings,my mom, and her friend. My mom's friend has arranged for one of her relatives to take me fishing. Where are some good lakes in L.A. area for crappie,'gills, and catfish?

Two lakes with very good fishing are Lake Skinner and Lake Perris. They are both south/east of LA

    Hey Ike:
Saw your post here. I am going to be in San Diego on the 12th of Aug.
Will park the Motorhome @ Admiral Baker RV park there.
Plan on being in SD until sometime around the first of Sept.(3 weeks)
Then I am off to Vandenburg AFB (Lompoc) to hunt pig/deer until Oct.
Plan to be back in SD for 2 more weeks after that, before heading back to FL.

I use to live in Imperial beach many years ago,(mid-60s). I fished some of the lake around there. (Otay,Barret, El Cap.). Lake Barret was one of the best for crappie at that time.

My phone # is (407) 222-8732, if you need someone to fill a seat, on one of the lake during my stay there. Give me a call
