well all a buddy and i are heading to minnesota in the morning. figured i would give the crappie a break:rolleyes: going bronze back and wally hunting. hope to get into them. the guy up there said they have been catching lot's of nice black crappie, but not gonna bring any of my crappie stuff so i won't be tempted to fish for them. have'nt fished for anything else in year's it took me a week to find all my other fishing gear since iv'e become a full time crappie fisherman. hope to have some neat pick's or at least a good fish lie i mean story get back toronto should be calling mine and baller's name. should be hopefully about 12-15 ft high, just right!

i hope your right, cuz i'd like to my dad would roll over in his grave but i'm breaking the cardinal sin. he alway's said if you could'nt catch enough fish to eat when you go on a fishing trip then you don't deserve to eat fish. well i'm taking 3 bag's of crappie with us. i can't believe it myself. but if we get into some walleye i was wanting to bring those back and have a big fish fry and share the walleye with friend's. however if i happen to hook into a 5 lb plus smallmouth then that's coming home in a cooler to go on to the wall!

Walleye weren't biting as well as previous years around this time but you can find 'em if you're persistent. But you're source is right...black crappie are hitting good. Had a lot of fun up here, Jeff...you're gonna love it!
