    Default March 6-10 too early?

Was wondering about how early March crappie fishing would be. I'm on my Spring Break that week and will be home. All the hunting seasons will be out, and it's before all the states' turkey seasons open up.

Figured if anything I might get some crappie fishing in. If the weather stays fairly warm, do you think going out for the fish will be productive?

How deep should I be fishing?

What will the water temp be around? I have no boat, and have no fish-finder with water temps.

Consentrate on lay downs or shallow brush and fish 2' -3' down on them with a minnow or jig under a float. You can stay in bed to, the best action is'nt usualy until the sun hits the brush for a while! But you will catch fish, usualy big ones! Try and find stained water though, that works for me!
    Good luck!
