    How's the best way to tie the dropper to the popper?and what type knot at each?

    I like the Orvis (Becker) knot. It works like a noose, so I tie the knot first. Then, I slip the open knot over the hook of the popper and slowly tighten.

    This knot is VERY strong, so I use lighter line for the dropper.

    Use a sinking black ant on the end of the dropper.

    Thanks fellers,thats a neat looking knot,I guess thats what they mean when they say just hang the bug and fly on,lol.
