Default Planning Douglas Lake Trip in March/April. Need Info!

I am planning a trip to Douglas Lake in late March/early April. This will be my second time fishing at Douglas. I fished there last year and did great on bluegills. I would like to know where and how to fish for crappie this time of year. I am from Ohio and mainly fish shallow, dirty water. We use small tubes, Charlie Brewers, and ice jigs under a float. What will I need for Douglas crappie? I will be launching at Indian Creek Boat Dock. I fished Indian Creek near the bridge the first time we were at Douglas. I can't go very far from the launch. My boat is an 8' Bass Baby with 30lb. Minn Kota. Any thoughts or suggestions?

starting late march I start trolling for crappie they should be at the mouth of indian creek just look for the boats I long line troll two 1/16 oz hair flies at a speed of .9 mph using gps. Lowest setting on yours should work. As sinkum said blue is good also chart red head white red head tipped with minnows

LML67: When you get ready to come, call me @ 865-579-3532 or (865) 256-5048 (cell). Will be glad to help anyway I can- will give latest fish info, baits that are working, as well as, colors. That time of year Muddy creek and parts of Flatt creek are productive. God Bless.
