Thanks for the report. I see the water is rising pretty steady according to the COE website. Good luck!

    Smitty,

Good work.... rumor has it the only guys really catchin fish on Twain right now is Fishn' Podna (Ray is his name I think) and he's longlining cranks....Where ya pullin the bandits at? (Roughly, not askin for precision)

Are ya catching a certain number of dinks to keeper ratio?

    U

We put in at south fork and went to the right under the hwy bridge along the left bank

    Only caught 2 throwbacks

the water is really high at the ramp you have to drive through water over the road to get to it so I don't think we will put in there until the water goes down which dosent sound like anytime soon.

    Hope that helps

Thanks mr. Beagle hope we can get on em tommorrow

Smitty - how long you going to be up there?

I'm going to leave work at 4pm tomorrow, and should be at the lake by 6 or shortly thereafter and am going to try and catch a few in the last couple hours of daylight and/or the first bit after dark. Have to fish the Delta Waterfowl crappie tournament (weigh-in at Stoutsville) Saturday from 6-3.

    Smitty,

Nice report. I am planning to get myself a boat that will be setup to pull cranks on Mark Twain. Last year I went out with Ray "fishn Podna" and had a blast. He put me onto the cranks for crappie. That guy really knows what he is doing on the lake pulling cranks.

    Smitty,

Thanks for the report, we were considering running up there this weekend but now my boys have three make up baseball games added to the schedule. This darn rain, sheez. Plus I noticed the water level is up near 626, but alteast it is not rising as much.

Does anyone know why they are not pulling water out hard?
