    Default Oologah Hybrid Stripers

I saw a guy at the Spencer boat ramp that said he had been catching Hybrid Stripers the day before. Any of you ever caught any? What lures or bat did you use?

hybrids are just crosses between white bass and stripers. You'll catch them when fishing for either one of these species using the same baits....spoons, shad, rooster tails, rattle traps, jigs

    Default Oologah Hybrids

Well I have caught a few big Hybrids on Oologah lake. My favorite spot is below the Oologah dam, and a nice big bucktail jig. I caught a monster on my last trip - I think it was 13 - 14 pounds... I forgot the exact number, but it was a good one. A large jig works well.

I've never seen a hybrid caught out of the lake. I've seen and caught hundred and hundreds of sandies..but never a hybrid.
    I fear no fish
