    Default yo-yo's!


    i have herd that you can use them to catch catfish & crappie. Yo Yo Fishing Reel anyone got tips for them?

    I don't think many folks here use or like them. Not too sporting. I've seen them being used looks like alot of wasted fish Just my 2 cents :D

    do a search in the forum for yo-yos youll get plenty of past threads on them....Its true alot dont like them....

    Looks to me like...if your not carefull with them....you will get a hook in your hand.

    yoyo's do serve only one good purpose for me...during the spawn, when a brother wants to move in on you..and they do...start putting yoyo's out to run them off

    I'd rather use just plain old limb lines and I do on the 12 pole creek for channels!

    Best yo yo is a Duncan, other than that, cut them off, save the hook and throw the rest in the trash.

    If you're truly a fisherman Jonny, you should read your state regulations from front to back. I'm sure you will find that it is illegal to take game fish by any other means than a rod and reel or pole. Set lines such as brush/limb hooks are for non-game fish only.
