    Unhappy Rotator Cuff Surgery?

Any of you guys ever had rotator cuff surgery done? I fell several weeks ago and the doc says I have two complete tears to my rotator cuff in my right (casting) arm. I've been casting under hand since the fall. I'm getting surgery this Friday. I don't really know what to expect. Thanks.

I had rotator cuff surgery along with a pin to repair bicep muscle in 07 and I'm casting fine now. Just do what they tell you to do and do the therapy and you will do fine.
Good Luck and my prayers to you.

Thanks for your replies. I guess I'll be spending alot of time for a while reading, watching TV, and checking Crappie.Com.

I think the worst part will be looking at my boat parked in the garage.
But I'm not gonna whine about. I feel blessed to have insurance and sick time to cover it. Plus the skills of the doctors who will do the surgery.
