Default Best colors in clear water?

Are duller greens best for clearer water? What are your favorites?

I've been doing pretty good in clearing waters with what worked early on this spring (early March)...acid rain and anything with pink in it.

clear water for me in missouri means, light colors on the sunny days and dark colors on the cloudy days, if the fish are deep on a clear day I will use a two color jig, say black/silver or blue/silver, on a cloudy day in real clear water black/chartruse with silver sparkles in the tail, except on beaver lake then red/chartruse or orange /silver work good.

I will second the Acid Rain, I usually start the day with 4 different colors and change to the one they bite the best. For the last 2 months Acid Rain has outperformed all of the other colors on a sunny day. On a cloudy day lemon lime and green hornet do well in clear water for me.

Up here the naturals work best. I have done well on Panfish Assassins Albino minishad, silver speck, and tomato seed. In tubes the lighter colors are good on sunny days and darker on cloudy.
